Mrs. Foster is the Office and Docketing Manager and Paralegal who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts degree in Justice Studies from Kent State University. She is earning her second Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Kent State University and a doctoral degree in the field.
Mrs. Foster’s professional experience includes seven years of Intellectual Property law office administration. She is a part-time instructor in the Kent State Sociology Department teaching Criminal Justice Studies. Her accomplishments include research projects addressing substance abuse, addiction and reoffending. Her publications include two essays appearing in the 2012 edition of the Encyclopedia of Criminology & Criminal Justice and seven essays in the 2011 edition of Encyclopedia of American Law & Criminal Justice.
Mrs. Foster is currently a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio, American Correctional Association, American Political Science Association, and the Ohio Council of Criminal Justice Education. She has volunteered teaching children’s church classes, fundraising activities for children’s sporting events and the Victims’ Assistance Program in Akron.
